OAPS have been targeted by thieves in a spate of distraction burglaries in the last week.
The latest incident happened last Monday at 7.30pm in Ronald Road, Beaconsfield, when a man stole an 84-year-old woman's handbag, which contained £20, when he asked for directions.
Another burglary took place last Friday, at 3.30pm in Reynolds Road, Beaconsfield, when two men claiming to be from the water board stole £45 in cash from an 87-year-old woman.
A third burglary happened when a man pretended to be from the water board after calling at the home of a 70-year-old man in Oakridge Road, High Wycombe, last Thursday.
