YOUNG athletes from Phoenix Harriers' Golden Eagles club have been reeling in the medals, with four of the youngsters taking ten medals in their last two meetings.

The Eagles were at it again at the Hercules Wimbledon Young Athletes Open Meet at Crystal Palace last weekend, where they notched another three medals following their fruitful trip to Bracknell's Young Athletes Open Meeting the previous weekend.

Eleven-year-old Scott Pryor, who attends Tylers Green Middle School, led the way with gold in the 200 metres and silver in the 100m.

School-mateJade Forbes-Wattley came home with silver in the 800 metres after being pipped at the post by one-hundredth-of-a-second.

There were also personal best for Sam Darvell, in the long jump, and Lewis Riseley, in the 1500m.
