Re Walk to school (and to work)?
PAUL Ryan is quite right (Straight Talking, July 24). Queueing is wasteful of time and petrol.
With less horrible roads, pupils and parents will want to walk to school; indeed, eventually, to work! A 20mph limit and various adjustments to neighbourhood parking at Hamilton Primary School in High Wycombe were enough to reduce travel by parental cars.
