ALAN Coster has closed the doors of his High Street tobacconist shop, ending 117 years of service to Marlow. Mr Coster announced his retirement last month and has been winding down the shop ever since. Mr Coster and his staff have spent the past week preparing for their final goodbye to the town as they open today and tomorrow to sell off the last of their stock at a reduced price. Mr Coster said: "No doubt tomorrow will be an emotional day." The shop is open from 9am onwards today and tomorrow.
