CUB Scout leaders are desperately needed by Christmas otherwise a village Scout group will have to close.
First Bourne End Scout Group has two Cub leaders leaving at the end of the year and the weekly meetings are in jeopardy if Mike Simmonds, Group Scout Leader, cannot recruit at least two leaders by Christmas.
He said: "The leaders are leaving and If I don't find someone to fill their shoes I'm going to have to close the group.
"We are looking for anyone who is enthusiastic and has an interest in what the Scout movement does."
Full training for the posts will be given and the volunteers will be responsible for the weekly meetings of the group and taking the members to Scout camps.
Mr Simmonds added: "They would be working on a progressive training scheme and fun would be the main aim of the game.
"Whoever helps is guaranteed to get a lot out of it. Fun as well as the training."
If you are interested in volunteering the help the group contact Mr Simmonds on 01628 410831.
