A SYMPHONY of music wafted in the air as pupils played a concert to mark the end of term.
Students from Meadows County Combined School in School Road, Wooburn Green, held an hour long open air concert for parents and teachers on Wednesday, July 18
Headteacher Phyllis Carr said: "It was a great success, it always is.
"The weather held out for us until the last 10 minutes when it started to rain but we managed to finish the concert.
"It was a successful end to the term and everyone had a good time."
Pupils belted out songs and music for their audience and played instruments including the keyboard, violin, bells and the maracas.
The Meadows Parents Association held a barbecue and a licensed bar for proud parents and all the visitors declared it a success.
