FOLLOWING the recent acquisition of Wycombe Bus Company, there appears to be a lack of reliability and frequency of buses in High Wycombe. There are many people like me who depend on reliable public transport for their needs.
One such route is the 326 which runs between Micklefield to Cressex. It used to run every ten minutes. It was on time more often than not. Today you can never be sure if the bus is coming or not, and if it is coming, when.
On a recent Tuesday afternoon I waited over 45 minutes at the junction of Mill End Road and Dashwood Avenue for a bus to arrive.
When it finally arrived at the bus station the driver discontinued his journey. This resulted in another 20-minute wait for another driver to continue.
I was very concerned because I have a small child to collect from school at 3.15pm. The bus did not arrive at Wycombe Marsh until almost 4pm. I noticed that following the bus I was on, were two more buses going to Micklefield.
I have spoken to other mums with small children and they have voiced similar complaints regarding the new bus company.
