A BUILDER'S bonce had a close shave in order to raise money for Oxford Kidney Unit.
Karl Stone, of Mentmore Road, High Wycombe, had his hair shaved off for charity at Prestwood Sports Social Club, Honor End Lane, at 8pm on Saturday.
"It was marvellous," said bald builder Karl. "I had a good time and it went to a good cause."
Karl raised £540 for the Oxford Kidney Unit. He offered to help after his boss, Mick Pigott, of Lesters Building Supplies in Oxford Road, Stokenchurch, donated a kidney to his daughter.
"She had to have a kidney removed," Karl said. "He donated a kidney and I thought, 'I've got a little bit of hair', so I offered to help."
About 20 to 25 people came to watch Karl's skull scalped by a hairdresser.
