PUPILS from Sir William Borlase's Grammar School in Marlow have put together a directory of recommended local businesses as part of the Young Enterprise Scheme.
Sixteen students were involved in the project which will be available in Marlow Library in Institute Road and the Tourist Information Centre in the High Street.
Questionaires were sent to friends and family of the pupils, asking for recommendations of local businesses that they had used.
The businesses nominated were then approached by the students and asked if they would like to take out a £50 or £100 advert in the directory
Antony Shannon, head of the young Enterprise Scheme at the West Street school said: "I think most of the businesses thought it was a good return on their investment."
Parents of pupils will receive a copy through the school, and the remaining issues will be available to the public.
