LION TAMERS, weightlifters and clowns were found at Spinfield School's annual summer fete and fancy dress contest.
Pupils and parents enjoyed the summer fair on Saturday, held in the school's grounds in Terrington Hill, Marlow.
In keeping with the circus theme, children were invited to try their hand at traditional circus skills such as juggling and stilt walking. Adults took part in an 'It's a Knock Out Competition', and more than £3,000 was raised from the fete, organised by school's PTA.
Event organiser Sue Robertson said: "It was a lovely day and very well attended. It was very sunny and everybody had a good time."
Maddy Gale, four, took first place in the pre-school fancy dress category, dressed as a clown.
Joel Matthews, six, won the Key Stage One, five to seven age group, as a strong man.
And Ailsa McIlwaine was the winner for the over eights, dressed as a lion tamer
The money raised from the fete will go towards funding the upcoming school jubilee, and purchasing new IT equipment.
