PUPILS at Lansdowne School were so successful treading the boards last week that parents were in tears at the school play.
Children at the school in Cressex Road, High Wycombe, staged Out of This World, a story about humans landing on another plant with an environmental theme, last Wednesday and Thursday.
Nick Stevens, a teacher at the school, directed the play with another teacher Verity Priest.
He said: "We had very, very positive feedback and we had a few parents in tears and lots of proud parents and teachers walking around.
"About a third of the school, 100 pupils, were involved in staging the play. The play was on for two nights and we had 180 people both nights. It was incredibly successful", he said.
