THERE was a music workshop and all that jazz at a school to help encourage a younger audience.
Jazzworks, radio station Jazz FM's schools workshop programme, visited Holmer Green Upper School in Parish Piece, Holmer Green, on February 27.
The programme, which is run throughout the Greater London area, has been designed to encourage students to experience the diversity of the jazz spectrum while supporting the national curriculum.
Head of music at the school Adrian Roach said: "It was very successful. It went very well."
The programme included an educational concert demonstrating the different styles of jazz. There was also a two-hour workshop for music students.
