A CURRY competition may be hotting up but council bosses have still not found a name for their prize elephant.

Chiltern District Council is running a competition to find a name for a model elephant to be presented to the Chiltern Curry Chef of the Year.

The competition is being held to strengthen links between restaurateurs and the district council. Competitors are judged on their restaurant and kitchen hygiene and the food they serve.

To stand a chance of winning a curry at the winning restaurant, look out for the special elephant posters.

To enter write to Jane Heywood, Council Offices, King George V Road, Amersham, Bucks HP6 5AW.
