SEVERAL prominent buildings in High Wycombe are due to be spruced up between July and September.
The Town Hall, Wycombe Swan Theatre and Wycombe Swan multi-story car park are all set to be repaired and redecorated.
Work on the Town Hall will begin on July 23. Most of the work will be on repairing and redecorating windows and doors. There will be scaffolding along its Victoria Road frontage, but there will be full access to the town hall.
Approximately four weeks later, it will be the turn of the Wycombe Swan Theatre to have its exterior re-vamped, timed to coincide as much as possible with its three-week summer shutdown between July 30 and August 12.
Full access to the theatre will be maintained throughout.
And finally, from mid August, there will be internal and external repairs and redecoration works carried out on Wycombe Swan multi-storey car park.
The ground level passageway between the car park and the theatre will need to be shut to the public for a couple of days. Parking bays will also be shut down at a rate of around six at a time.
