FORMER National Track Champion Paul Newby rolled back the years when he finished second in the West London Cycling Association ten mile time trial.
The 66-year-old was one of two Wycombe riders taking part in the race and his time of 24 minutes and 40 seconds earned him second place in his age group.
Clubmate Frank Pressling beat him by 26 seconds in the race which was won by multi national champion Michael Hutchinson in a time of 20 minutes, 28seconds.
Bad weather put paid to last week's Wycombe points league matches.
