CHALFONT St Peter Football Club's match at home to Bracknell on Saturday has been brought forward to 2pm because the floodlights at the Playing Fields have been deemed not bright enough.

The third division Saints have been ordered to make some minor adjustments and are confident that they will resolve the problem soon.

For Saturday's match Kevin Davies will take his place in the three-pronged management structure for the first time.

He signed this week joining Sean West and Martin Dean on the management and coaching side.

And he looked as though he was going to get off to a winning start in a friendly against Henley on Wednesday.

Saints, bottom of the Ryman third division with just two wins all season, were 1-0 up when the referee abandoned the match at half time because of a frozen pitch.

Chairman Nigel Payne said: "It was very encouraging. We're going into an important stage of the season and I'm confident things are picking up. We've introduced a new code of conduct and the spirit among the players is excellent."
