WANDERERS have agreed a £200,000 fee with Barnet for Darren Currie.

The two clubs agreed the price when Currie was on holiday in Mexico last week and it is now up to the 26-year-old to agree personal terms and pass a medical.

If he does he should be a Wanderers player by the time the team report back for pre-season training on Thursday.

The deal marks the end of a long chase for Wanderers boss Lawrie Sanchez and the realisation of a dream for Currie.

The BFP exclusively reported in May that Blues were chasing Currie and that he was hot for a move to Adams Park to link up with former Barnet pals Sean Devine and Terry Gibson.
