HOUSEHOLD waste sites in Buckinghamshire are well on their way to meeting demanding new Government targets for recycling and recovery.
The county council has made great progress in reaching a waste recycling target of 40 per cent for High Wycombe.
Margaret Dewar, cabinet member for community services, said: "The county council attaches great importance to the environment and is very keen to ensure waste is recycled where possible."
She added: "We are delighted with our recent performance and hope to improve on this."
