LONDON Irish Rugby Club surprised pupils of St Augustine's Catholic Primary School when they visited for a coaching session last week.
Years Five and Six packed the assembly hall and threw questions at the premiership rugby players before heading for the playing field where they received advice on tactics and other top tips.
Eamonn Kennedy, headmaster of St Augustine's in High Wycombe, said: "When we received the call from London Irish saying they were coming along we were so excited especially since rugby is a sport that we are trying to bring into the school."
The team's community officers coached alongside the team's top players, including captain Conor O' Shea.
"The fact London Irish is our local team encourages families and pupils to go along and give their support," added Mr Kennedy.
