MINDLESSS thugs have smashed a large Labour poster put up five yards inside a lady's garden.
I have received informal advice from a high court judge that this is illegal trespass combined with criminal damage which, if proved, could result in a custodial sentence if the judge was so minded.
As this is the second large poster to be destroyed in her garden the lady now feels too frightened to receive a third for the moment. In the circumstances the Labour Party will make every endeavour to catch and prosecute anyone doing this.
