Re: Wycombe Bus Station
I AM sorry to say that the trouble with the bus station is down to Wycombe District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council, which are looking at putting the bus garage out of town and building a lot of shops in the Western Sector that 90 per cent of people don't want because a lot are empty now.
Alan Page says that cleanliness is next to godliness. All areas now have loads of rubbish blowing about. It's due to people not taking it home.
When we were young our parents stopped us doing it.
If Alan goes to the town forum, he should ask why they are trying to get rid of Tesco's, which will upset more people, especially older people, than a dirty bus garage that will not be sorted out until WDC and BCC stop pussy-footing around and admit that the development they are looking at is not needed.
As for why the Wycombe area is getting bad for bus drivers, what with lumps in the road and silly rising posts holding them up, this happens to Wycombe, not Aylesbury where BCC head office is where they arrange to wreck this town.
