MORE than 40 punters turned out to hedge their bets at a race night to raise cash for charity.
The Race Night With a Difference was held at the Hazlemere Community Centre, Rose Avenue, last Friday.
Each racer moved a giant wooden horse's head along the course in relation to the score rolled on a die.
Elaine McLeod, secretary at the centre, said: "It certainly was a race night with a difference. It was to raise money for the centre and and we'll definitely be doing it again."
Those placing bets could also enjoy a drink at the bar.
It is not yet known how much cash was raised.
