LEADING organisations have called a meeting for residents to discuss the future of their town.
A community plan is being formed for Princes Risborough and the meeting on August 22 will be the first part of the process.
The event is the outcome of a joint initiative by leading sections of the community, including Churches Together, the Rotary Club and Princes Risborough Town Council as well as Risborough Community Association, Bucks Community Action, the Town Centre Forum and Wycombe District Council.
Francis Gomme, of Bucks Community Action, said the aim was to establish a community plan in consultation with everyone who has an interest in the town.
He said: "It's important because it will give everybody who works, plays or lives in Risborough to have a say in the future."
The meeting will be held at St Mary's Parish Hall, Church Street, at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
