STUDENTS will redesign the logo of a wildlife hospital which will be used to promote the centre on a wide range of merchandise including clothing and stationery.
A group of HND graphic design students from Amersham and Wycombe College have been set the task for the St Tiggywinkles Hospital Trust in Haddenham.
The hospital approached the college at the end of last year with a view to recruiting a design team to update the corporate identity of the registered charity. The current logo has been the face of St Tiggywinkles since 1991, when it expanded from a back garden into the present purpose-built hospital.
Andrea Sims, personal assistant to the chief executive at St Tiggywinkles, said: "We knew that the students would be good and that they would come up with innovative concepts."
The 26 students have until February to prepare their initial ideas, with the final presentation being held at the end of March.
The students will display their ideas at the Higher Education Open Evening on Wednesday, January 31, at the Amersham campus.
