RESURFACING work on High Wycombe roundabouts has begun and is due to last four weeks.

The existing carriageway around the A40 Abbey Way roundabout, High Wycombe, and the 200 metre approach down Marlow Hill will be repaired.

The work, which started on July 16, will include closing the carriageway into High Wycombe on Marlow Hill in the evenings. But it is hoped access to all roads will be maintained.

Buckinghamshire County Council spokesman Richard Burton said: "Due to the traffic sensitivity of the site it has been decided to carry out the works at night."

Motorists wishing to travel down Marlow Hill are diverted in the evening to Daws Hill Lane, towards Flackwell Heath.
