PUPILS learnt about the stars and planets with the help of a giant planetarium temporarily installed at their school.
John Hampden Grammar School, in Marlow Hill, High Wycombe, held the event on Monday last week and invited Blue Peter scientist Anton Vamplew and leading astronomer Peter Golding to give lectures inside the mobile planetarium.
Eminent scientists, Professor David Pye and Dr Mike Green, provided further lectures for sixth form students.
Physics teacher Marguerite Fletcher said it captured students' imaginations and extended knowledge of science.
