SEVEN schools have come out on top of the Rotary Club of High Wycombe Computer Challenge 2001.
More than 81 schools took part in the competition which aimed to build students' information technology skills.
The competition, split into two age groups, challenged pupils to come up with a computer design/drawing either as a class or an individual.
Benjamin Streeter, of Claytons Combined School, Bourne End, came first in juniors section, key stage one, and Emily Braisher came second and Thomas Pike third, of The Downley School, High Wycombe.
Oano Littlewood, of Highworth Combined School, High Wycombe, won the key stage two section, with Craig Bullock, of The Downley School, coming second, and Harry Hyman, of Spinfield School, Marlow, third.
The Hatters Lane School, High Wycombe, did well in the seniors section, key stage three, with Jessica Chandler coming first, Lucy Hill second, and Saba Hussain third, for best web page.
Catherine George, of Pipers Corner School, Great Kingshill, won the best newsletter category. Sarah Goss, of Wycombe High School, won key stage four.
