MARLOW'S junior rugby players claimed the Under-12s Bucks Cup last Saturday with a 28-5 win over Bletchley.

Marlow lifted the silverware after surviving early Bletchley pressure and scoring against the run of play.

Flyhalf James Comben got Marlow off the mark when he picked up Oliver Peggram's long kick, beat two defenders and then touched down.

It was just the confidence booster Marlow needed and they then began to dominate the clash.

Captain David Cole increased Marlow's advantage when he finished off a move started by inside centre Charlie Ingall.

Marlow's third try came from a maul on the Bletchley line when prop Edward Griffin picked the ball up and forced his way over.

The Riverwoods side completed the scoring when Griffin was again on hand to set up David Cole who secured precious yards before William Junger finished off.

Comben and Ingall made two conversions each.
