SIXTY years of childhood memories will be on view at Hatters Lane School at a special festival to mark the end of an era if former pupils turn up trumps.
The school, in Hatters Lane, High Wycombe, opened in 1940 but at the end of the summer term the name Hatters Lane will be ditched and the school will reopen in September as Highcrest School.
To mark the event the school will open its gates to everyone for an afternoon of fun, including loads of sporting events, music and drama and plenty to eat and drink.
The festival organisers want to set up a display of school memorabilia, and hope people who have items remaining from their days in the school will lend them for the exhibition.
The festival support group is now meeting regularly to organise the event which takes place on July 14.
If you have items of memorabilia, or who would like to help the group set up the reunion, get in touch with the school matron who is coordinating the event on (01494) 529866.
