MARLOW Rugby Club have been given a bye to the final of the County Cup after semi-final opponents Slough failed to field a side.
Slough pulled out of Saturday's showdown because they didn't have enough front row forwards.
They decided to forfeit the match rather than play people out of position and have now handed Marlow a final date against Aylesbury in the first week of May.
It has not yet been decided who will have home advantage.
Marlow spokesman Willie White said: "It's nice to be in a final but it would have been far more satisfying to beat them on the park."
