I SHOULD like through your pages to thank the voters of Wycombe for making the recent general election campaign so enjoyable.
Despite the current wave of apathy towards politicians, I always found that the policies of the UK Independence Party were well received by the people to whom I spoke.
To those who voted for me, I should like to say a special word of thanks for their support.
I should also like to thank all those people who helped me in the campaign.
I know they worked very hard and to achieve over 1,000 votes at the first attempt in Wycombe is magnificent and bodes well for the future.
I have thoroughly enjoyed standing in Wycombe and I look forward to repeating the experience at a later date.
