I AM looking for witnesses to an accident in the grounds of Wycombe Hospital, some 30-40 yards up from the main entrance, on Monday, June 25, at about 2.10pm.
I was hit by a car and suffered severe fractures of the right hand, needing two operations and I spent four days in hospital. I have no clear recollection of what happened and was shocked and dazed. I do not even know the make of the car. All I can recall is being hit and that the elderly driver was male.
His front seat passenger was an elderly woman. I do know that a number of people were standing around watching as the woman got out and walked me to A&E. There she left me at reception without giving any details, and I never saw the couple again.
If you saw anything, or have any information, please contact me, in confidence, at the address below, or on 01494 528306.
