I DOUBT if any of the NIMBY posse you illustrate in your article on opposition to the development of Lowlands Cottage, Great Kingshill, can remember when the long wooden extension to the house was in use as dog kennels, with all the incessant barking and stink from that use.
The former resident you quote probably censored that information!
The minuscule old part of the cottage was obviously built for dwarfs! I got a cricked neck and a bruised head whenever I visited the hovel part.
If Berkeley Homes' plans are rejected, would the Lowlands Crescent protesters welcome a return to dog boarding, which had established use? It would drive them barking mad.
