CBF have finally reached the prime position on week four of the Cressex Six-a-Side Summer League.

The championship contenders have spent three weeks in second spot, but finally broke through to the top spot after winning two and drawing one in last week's latest round of matches.

They were helped along by Hithercroft's poor performance which saw them plummet from the top spot to fifth.

Hithercroft's best display of the night came with a 1-1 draw against CBF. The former table toppers were reduced to five men for the clash, but still managed to hold CBF to a share of the points.

CBF took the lead through White, but Judd pulled one back against the run of play to earn Hithercroft a draw.

CBF also had to battle in their second match, against 11th place AFC Barnes, before they broke through to claim the points thanks to Isaac's second-half strike.

But CBF's final match of the evening was a more convincing one a 4-0 victory over out-of-sorts Stokenchurch United.

Three goals in the first half put CBF on their way before they added another in the second, Isaac and Charles claimed two apiece. In other matches, despite losing to CBF, AFC Barnes went on to secure six points after Salisbury's strike gave them a 1-0 win over Stokenchurch before they rounded off the evening with a 4-1 grilling of Hithercroft, thanks to two from Salisbury and singles from Vandercar and Avery. Italia Unita look to have finally found their form after a couple of disastrous weeks.

They ran rings around Jabba's Palace to claim a 3-0 with goals from Savaton, Mario and Reno before securing a 2-0 win over basement side Marlow Tornadoes, thanks to strikes from Reno and Serus. They completed their full house with a 2-0 win over mid-table Wendover Arms, which saw them jump up five places to 13th in the table. Wycombe Hermits got another four points under their belt with a 3-0 win over WWISC, with Hawes claiming a brace and Pitts adding the other. Hermits then played out a goalless draw with Tring West End to take another point, their last of the evening.

In their final game, a young Wycombe Town proved too strong for them. Town took an early lead, but Hermits hit back with one from Hawes to square it before Holliman and House hit two late ones for a Town win. But despite that loss, Hermit held on to sixth spot. Bisham Revengers once again failed to find winning ways. They have won just once this campaign and another poor performance saw them crash in both their games last week.

They had a promising start against Thrifty Car Rental but couldn't convert their possession into points. They fell 3-0 to both Thrifty Car Rental and Toys-R-Us.
