THIEVES have stolen a widescreen TV worth £2,500 from Club Med in Beaconsfield.
Three men who had been playing on a games machine at the bar in Maxwell Road, took the TV at 3.30pm on Saturday.
Beaconsfield Deputy Mayor Graham Smith (Con, North Ward), saw the men running off as he came back from a fete with his wife and two young children.
He said: "I was just walking back from the Donkey Derby with my wife and son and daughter when I saw the offenders running off.
"I got the number of their car and gave it to the staff at Bar Med. My baby daughter, who is only one year-old was very upset by the whole experience.
"It all happened so quickly and the noise and mayhem frightened my daughter.
"We really need CCTV in the town to help the police combat crime."
The theft has come just five weeks after masked robbers raided the bar, leaving a member of staff in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft and have said that two of the offenders were described as Asian and the third, white. The two Asian males made their getaway in a red Rover and the white male fled on foot.
