A BOURNE End based charity has boosted funds for a disabled club by donating £250.
Bourne End Community Charity has given the money to the Thames Valley Physically Handicapped and Able-Bodied club PHAB minibus appeal.
Brian Platt, PHAB's treasurer, said: "We generate funds from the sale of secondhand clothing and other items and at a recent meeting of trustees it was decided that a donation of £250 should be made to the minibus appeal."
Thames Valley PHAB's minibus was torched by arsonists last year leaving the club with no transport.
The club received a small amount of insurance money but had to raise £35,000 on their own. With the help of this £250 and other donations the club has reached its target.
