GENEROUS Ida Goldthorpe has left £1,000 to worthwhile causes after she died last November.
The long-time resident, who lived in Bench Manor Crescent, Chalfont St Peter, left £500 each to Chalfont St Peter Parish Church, Austenway and to The League of Friends of Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross Hospital, Hampden Road, Chalfont St Peter.
Jim Greasley, the vicar at Chalfont St Peter Parish Church, said: "We are very grateful and it has gone to the Town's Mill Project fund. We are pleased she remembered us."
She also left an estate valued at more than £600,000 to her family.
