STONE Football Club completed the League and Cup double when they beat Lane End 3-0 to retain the Wycombe and District League Cup at Thame United last Thursday.
Shaun Walker set the champions on the way with a perfectly-placed 20-yard free kick to open the scoring.
Phil Chanel then extended their lead when he headed in number two to leave Lane End with a mountain to climb.
They tried valiantly to get a foothold in the match but couldn't find a way past man-of-the-match Melvin Bright whose fine tackling kept Lane End at bay.
Stone wrapped up the tie when Ricky Paul finished off a fine solo run with a 20-yard shot to match it.
