WARNING to all readers did you know that if you park your car in the Wycombe 6 cinema car park it is very likely your car will be broken into.

On Sunday, May 27, I parked my car there and went to see a film only to come back to find the window smashed and an attempt had been made to find the front to my stereo. Fortunately I had put it in my bag, so bad luck to the thief. I noticed plenty of other cars had been broken into that night causing glass carnage all over the car park.

I went into the cinema and spoke to the manager to ask for the number of High Wycombe police. He said not to bother that night as I would only get an answer phone message. Someone else had already reported a break-in. He said it happens all the time.

Well, if it happens all the time why don't they do something about it? Maybe if they used one less person selling popcorn they could have a least one person patrolling the car park like at John Lewis. What's the point having CCTV if it's in the wrong place? Fewer are likely to go to the cinema as they will be deterred by the risks.

And to the person who broke into my car. I have never before had a nice car. I worked really hard to get my car. I am not rich or flash and can't afford to have the glass fixed or have my insurance premiums increased because of your selfish actions. I sincerely hope someone does this to you one day and then you will know how I feel.

Don't park there. No-one will look after your car and if this happens to you the only people who will benefit are the glass fitters and the thief.
