STAFF are in shock after an armed robbery at a bank.
A man escaped with cash from Lloyds TSB in Church Path, Stokenchurch, after threatening staff and customers with what appeared to be a gun.
The incident happened at about 2.30pm on Thursday but the branch stayed closed until today to give frightened staff a chance to recover from the ordeal.
Police came to the scene when staff raised the alarm. A police helicopter was also despatched in an attempt to locate the robber who fled from the bank, turning left into Church Road.
Stephen Finch, a spokesman for Lloyds TSB, said: "Staff and customers were obviously shaken up but nobody was actually hurt."
The man is described as white, with a tan, and was wearing black trousers and jacket and what appeared to be a black scarf covering part of his face. He was carrying a cream carrier bag in which he stuffed the cash.
A £15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the robber's conviction.
Anyone with information should call PC Jane McIntosh at High Wycombe CID on 01494 465888
