SALLY Jamieson was a beloved wife and wonderful mother who devoted her life to her family.

Her husband Simon paid tribute to his wife after the tragic crash which has left the couple's two children Benjamin, four, and two-year-old Joshua, without their mother.

Mr Jamieson, of Wycombe Road, Stokenchurch, said his wife was recognised as a talented, intelligent and artistic person.

He said: "She had so many friends due to her outgoing personality, generous nature and wonderful smile. She was taken from us in such tragic and unique circumstances and will be sadly missed by family, friends and everyone who came into contact with her."

Mrs Jamieson had gone into Aitchisons last Thursday to make inquiries about buying a house when the lorry smashed into the estate agents.

It was the first time she had visited the estate agents in Easton Street.

A post-mortem was due to be held yesterday to establish the cause of death.

Mrs Jamieson, 40, was born Sallyann Goodenough to parents John and the late Brenda Goodenough and was the sister of Mark.

After spending many years of her school life in France, she returned to England to obtain a degree in psychology from Bristol University in 1982.

She then gained a distinction in her MBA in 1993.

She met Simon in Bristol and the couple, who married in 1987, were about to celebrate 14 years of happy marriage.

Mrs Jamieson held various senior management positions in business before deciding two years ago to devote her time to her growing family.

She helped with her husband's business and spent time writing and illustrating children's books.

Mr Jamieson added: "She was very practical and transformed the large garden and artistically decorated the house, especially the children's rooms."

The family is now trying to come to terms with their loss during this traumatic time.
