THE OLD Parker Knoll furniture shop is set to be given a new lease of life as a pub with a company investing £1million in refurbishments.
The site, in Frogmoor, High Wycombe, once housed the original headquarters of the Parker Knoll Group but now pub retailer Eldridge Pope will be developing the site.
The company will be investing the money in developing a new Toad bar which will incorporate the Grade II listed building.
James Eyre, acquisitions and development director, said: "We are eagerly looking forward to opening the Toad in High Wycombe and are confident that local people and visitors will enjoy it to the full."
The building will hold in excess of 500 people on two floors. The company has already moved on to the site and hope to open the new bar in August.
