LEE Common School is presenting a fashion show next Wednesday from 7.30pm. It is raising funds for the school by hosting a new clothes discount opportunity in a fun atmosphere. Changing room facilities will be provided but note it's only women's clothes that are available.

WILDLIFE in the Garden is just one of the many interesting parts of a massive new exhibition at the County Museum called The Great Garden Show. Although the exhibition is running until September, on Saturday is a special Free Family Fun Day with a whole range of goodies and games in partnership with the Education services.

GIPSY Cottage, home of the late Roald Dahl, is opening its gardens next Wednesday, May 16. This is a fascinating opportunity to see Roald's writing hut situated down a pleached lime walk running from a York stone terrace. There is also a sunken garden, walled vegetable garden, gipsy caravan and a maze grown especially for children.

DARING Doings on Mount Olympus promises to be a fascinating new course. It is a first attempt by Missenden Abbey to provide a combined art and music course profusely illustrated with slides and recordings.

The theme follows the many amorous adventures and drastic deeds of Greek Gods and Goddesses. It is a course designed for anyone who is interested in Greek Mythology and artistic and musical interpretations of these classical stories.
