A NEW stained glass window has been welcomed by parishioners as part of their Millennium festivities.
The congregation of Holy Trinity Church, Lane End, now have a lasting memento of their village's 2000 celebrations.
Reverend Robert Jennings said: "Last year the idea came that we should do something for the Millennium that would be lasting. It was a real community project. The members of the church gave their ideas to the design."
The window was made and designed by David Wasley and ideas for the new colourful artwork came from all over the village.
The stained glass window was dedicated officially on December 10 by the Bishop of Buckingham in an evening ceremony.
