THAMES Valley Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied Club wants to up its fund total by £10,000 to get a top of the range minibus.
The fund currently stands at £30,000 with the help of The Star, and local businesses AXA Sunlife, Protim Solignum/Osmose of Marlow and Wycombe Round Table, as well as residents.
Kim Rose, appeals co-ordinator, said: "We have also had two Fridays collecting in Wycombe High Street and the Octagon.
"A special thank you goes to the organisers of the Marlow Five run as we have been nominated as their chosen charity for this year.
"Just £10,000 to raise and we really need to do it within the next six weeks."
Fundraising started in December last year after the PHAB's minibus was torched by vandals.
The club received some insurance money and needed to raise a further £30,000 for a new minibus. But it says with a little extra cash, it can get a top-of-the-range bus.
If you would like to help the club meet its target, send a cheque made payable to Thames Valley PHAB Minibus Appeal, to Kelly Clayton at The Star, Gomm Road, High Wycombe, Bucks HP13 7DW
