BUNNIES, Vinnie and Gazza are among a number of death row rabbits who are desperately looking for a home.

The bunnies were christened after the footballers because Gazza originally tore a bit out of Vinnie's ear during a scuffle.

The pair are waiting for homes along with 13 other rabbits who were saved from vivisection tests by animal lovers.

Dawn Parkes, of Booker Common, Booker, High Wycombe, has managed to home some of them but she still has 13 left.

She said: "They are all desperate for their own homes and would like somewhere they can run around.

"At the moment they are out all day long but it is time they had somewhere to call their own."

Originally around 1,200 rabbits were saved from a farm in Surrey where they were marked out to be sold for animal testing purposes.

Take your pick from the pure white bunnies called Gazza, Vinnie, Molly, Rosie, Bubble, Squeak, Topsy, Turvey, Lottie, Smudge, Jasmine and Snowdrop.

If your can offer one or more of the bunnies a home call Dawn Parkes on 01494 451225.
