THREE men have been arrested following a triple shooting in High Wycombe which left a 15-year-old boy fighting for his life.

The men were arrested at separate addresses in Birmingham early yesterday morning.

All three men were local to the Birmingham area and are currently being detained at a police station in the West Midlands.

But officers say they will be taken to a police station in the Thames Valley Police area for questioning at a later date.

The shooting, in Kitchener Road, High Wycombe, on April 11 sent shock waves through the community and left teenager Jhanghir Khan and his two brothers Shoukat and Azad with gunshot wounds.

Police told at the time how schoolboy Jhanghir was the first to be shot on his own doorstep, and his brothers were shot as they ran after the attackers and chased them down an alley.

Jhanghir, who had been on a life support machine after sustaining gunshot wounds to his head and neck, has now been released from the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Kate Spark, spokesman for Chiltern Vale police, told the Free Press: "The 15-year-old who was injured in the shooting has now been released from hospital and is recuperating with his family."
