WELL done Stokenchurch Under-14s Football Team who had a memorable Cup match against Thame U14s at Marlow last weekend. Although they were two goals down at half time, they rallied to finish with a score of 2-2. During the "golden goal" period of extra time our team were responsible for a superb deciding goal which made Stokenchurch the Cup winners.

MARY Towerton School's ex-pupils have made a very positive response to the idea of a Silver Jubilee Fete on Saturday, June 30. More than 120 people have been contacted and will be arriving from all over the country. So far it hasn't been possible to trace ex-pupils Cathy and Vicky Brant. ON Monday, May 14, the Community Health Council (the watchdog for the Health Service) is holding a meeting in Longburrow Hall, at 7pm. Representatives from the South Bucks Trust, which is responsible for Amersham and Wycombe Hospitals, and Bucks Health Authority, which has overall responsibility for GPs and dentists, will be there, and members of the public will be able to put questions at the end of the meeting.
