AN INDUSTRIAL engineering company looking to recruit staff locally has had little or no luck even though it is more than happy to take on full or part-time engineers who are 50-years-old and above.
MJM Industrial in Hayes, Middx, supplies industrial pats and engineering labour in the West London, Bucks and Oxon areas and is looking for experienced mechanical fitters, electricians and welders.
Matthew Pearce, a partner at MJM, who grew up in Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, and was a pupil at Hatters Lane School, said: "MJM have had little or no response despite the factory closures at Glory Mill, Wycombe Marsh Paper Mill and Rugby Cement in Chinnor, over recent years.
"Due to growth and successfully winning new business in the Wycombe area we are looking to recruit locally."
