MORE than 1,000 people saw Bekonscot Model Village celebrate its 75th anniversary on Saturday.
The Green Sleeves Morris Dancers performed at the village in Warwick Road, Beaconsfield, watched by a large crowd.
Village public relations manager Barry Newman, said: "We made the dancers welcome and gave them a hallelujah time. To celebrate our 75 years, they had a morris ring which all troupes of morris dancers were invited to. Of course not all of them came but there was a very good turn-out.
"They came and danced in the sun and helped us celebrate 75 years of the village."
The morris dancers have been stopping at Bekonscot as part of their tour of the area for the last ten years, and three teams came to the village this year.
